Bringing Up Children

You are entitled to Child Benefit - get a form from the Post Office or the Department for Work and Pensions. You can also get a form from the ‘Bounty Pack’ which is given to new mothers in hospital. A form can be filled in online on the Direct Gov website. Forms can also be obtained from the Child Benefit Office, Helpline: 08453 021 444, opening hours, Mon – Fri: 8am - 8pm and Sat: 8am - 4pm.

You may be entitled to Child Tax Credit or Working Tax Credit.
