Debts

If you find you can’t keep up payments for something you bought on credit, you run the risk of having the goods taken back by the seller or your guarantors may have to pay. Go to the seller or the bank straight away and explain your difficulties.
You may be able to rearrange the terms, ie. pay smaller amounts, over a longer period of time. The local CAB may be able to help. You could also get advice from a lawyer, or you can approach the Debt Counselling Service.
