Youth Hostel Association

Anyone can join the YHA. Your membership card entitles you to stay in Youth Hostels all over Britain and in many other countries. Membership costs £9.95 a year if you are under 26 years old. There are certain discounts for students, those on low income and for families or groups. Check them out.
Over twenty hostels have been specially designed for use by people with disabilities and others have good access. Many hostels also have facilities for self catering and camping. Youth Exchanges
These are a great way for groups of young people to get to know one another’s country and find out about the lifestyle of the young people who live there. You can stay either with one person in a family home or at a hostel.
